Appearances[]
Vampire Academy (TV Series)[]
Pilot[]
In the "Pilot", she attends Queen Marina's 200th birthday. She catches Andre's eye, and the two sneak off to have sex. She is later seen attending the St. Vladimir's Feast Day party, standing to the right of Irene Vogel.
Death Watch[]
In "Death Watch", she introduces herself to Vasilisa Dragomir and tells Lissa that her mother sent her to court a few months earlier to study religious studies with her aunt, High Priestess Irene. But she was also a friend of her brother, Andre Dragomir. Afterwards, she and Dimitri Belikov talk at the Dhampir bar, where he refers to her as Lady Tatiana Vogel of the St. Ndali province. It turns out that she is a distant cousin of the Royal Vogels and a niece of High Priestess Irene. Eventually, due to Tatiana's machinations, Lissa will no longer be eligible to run for queen. During the latest Strigoi attack, two of her distant cousins were killed, bringing the overall size of the Dragomir house down so low that, according to some ancient forgotten rule, Lissa does not have a "quorum" and therefore cannot even vote, let alone run. It is later revealed that the one who informed the royal council of this ancient rule and asked for it to be enforced was Tatiana, who seems to be making a grab for power with the intention of reforming the dominion with her power.
Benchmark[]
In "Benchmark", Tatiana gives a speech to the Council, declaring her candidacy for Queen. She also states that Lissa was really the radical choice, given that she has a Dhampir best friend and is associated with the Ozera family. After Tatiana’s speech, one of the Council members suggests lowering the age of guardians enlistment to 16. Victor Dashkov objects to this but is outvoted. Victor, for his part, argues against 16-year-olds being Guardians at the Council meeting and suggests temporarily taking Guardians from non-royal moroi, even though that would mean his husband Robert would lose his protection. Tatiana, who is now a member of the council, agrees with Victor. Later, she tells Lissa that the council agreed to release a real Strigoi onto Rose and the rest of the novices to test them.
Near Guard, Far Guard[]
In "Near Guard, Far Guard", Tatiana asks why Lissa is interested in older Moroi art. Lissa then responds that art has always been her happy place. Tatiana says that she knows the collector who donated the piece of art that Lissa is looking at. She also notes that it’s a shame Lissa won’t be going on the Royal Tour. Lissa responds that since she doesn’t have a quorum, she can’t go on the Royal Tour, and Tatiana must know that. Tatiana says that she knows that Lissa deserves to choose a spouse when she’s ready, not because Victor is desperate for votes. Lissa says Victor just wants what's best for her. Tatiana then says that if that were true, he would’ve prevented a Strigoi from being released on her friends.
Molnija[]
In "Molnija", Tatiana launches a public political smear campaign against Viktor as someone who’s forsaken their royal duties. When that fails, she brings up Mikhail Tanner (Sonya Karp’s now-dead boyfriend) as an incompetent guardian. Sonya loses control of herself and violently attempts to attack Tatiana before she is pulled away from her, thus humiliating and hurting Viktor’s campaign.
Beyond the Wards[]
In "Beyond the Wards", the power struggle between Victor and Tatiana continues. The two spend most of their time networking and competing for votes so they may ascend to the throne. In a last-ditch effort when she realizes she’s losing, Tatiana goes to her aunt (the high priestess) and convinces her that Victor’s ascension to the throne spells doom for the church’s influence and power, and thus she must force the queen to withdraw support from Victor in order to maintain peace between church and state.
The Trials[]
In "The Trials", at the endurance competition of the trials, the competitors must brave the four elements, and both Tatiana and Victor stand on the edge of a watchtower while the wind blows in their faces. As it turns out, Dimitri is Tatiana's champion. Later, she and Dimitri hook up. Then, after the third trial, when it looks like Victor might have won, Tatiana reveals during her concession speech a massive glass case containing a Strigoi Sonya.
Darkness[]
In "Darkness", Lissa goes to Queen Marina and requests that the solution to the current political instability is to remain on the throne. Thus disavowing both Victor and Tatiana while crowning Lissa her heir as she works on gaining her quorum back. Later, a masked person goes into a dungeon where they have a prisoner that they are speaking to. The masked person turns out to be none other than Tatiana, and her prisoner is a very much alive Andre.
Ascension[]
In "Ascension", it turns out that Tatiana had been holding Andre captive all this time. He further reveals that Tatiana has been behind all the Strigoi attacks. Eventually, a power-hungry Tatiana kills Queen Marina in a move for the throne. She needs the council to elect her, but she knows that there are still some supporters of Victor who might create problems for her. So, she lets loose a couple of Strigoi, who conveniently kill all those who might stand against her. By the end of the night, the vote is over and done with, and Tatiana is crowned queen of the Dominion. As soon as that happens, she declares Lissa a person of interest in the murder of the Queen. It is important for her to get Lissa out of the way because she is the only one who can stake a claim on the throne now, challenging Tatiana’s authority. Before she died, the Queen had declared Lissa to be her heir to the throne, and there might still be some loyalists of the Dragomir family who would like to see Lissa on the throne rather than Tatiana.
