Welcome to the Vampire Academy and Bloodlines Series Wiki! We hope you have a good time here. When editing here, we expect you to be on your best behavior, but we do ask that you adhere to a few rules.
Don't worry if you make a mistake, because everyone does. We will notify you if it becomes problematic. If you are given a warning and there is a continued violation of the rules, you may be temporarily blocked from editing.
Posting pornography or outright vandalism will probably result in an immediate ban without warning. Click on rules to see the rules.

Blocking
Don't worry if you make a mistake, because everyone does. We will notify you if it becomes problematic. If you are given a warning and there is a continued violation of the rules, you may be temporarily blocked from editing.
Posting pornography or outright vandalism will probably result in an immediate ban without warning.
Users may be blocked on this wiki for the following reasons:
- Asking other users personal information such as age, location, etc.
- Continual edit warring
- Deliberately misgendering (i.e. using the wrong pronouns) and otherwise disrespecting people's stated facts about their person and identity.
- Edit farming
- Impersonating someone (ex. claiming to be a celebrity or another user when you're not)
- Inappropriate username/nickname/bio
- Inserting false information
- Making a personal attack on another user
- Not following blog guidelines
- Plagiarism
- Recurring harassment including but not limited to:
- Hounding
- Personal or legal threats
- Posting of personal information (also known as doxxing)
- Repeated messaging and ignoring their request to be left alone
- Recurring vandalism or spamming
- Ex. adding anything that is deliberately comical, outlandish, a hoax, hostile, slanderous, or degrading in any way, or removing valid information.
- Sockpuppetry or abusing multiple accounts - If you evade your block by using another account, your original block may become indefinite, and your alternate account(s) will be indefinitely blocked. If you use another person to evade your block (also known as meat puppetry), your block may become indefinite, and that other person may be warned or temporarily blocked.
Blocks may begin at 24 hours and will increase depending on the number of offenses and type of offense. If you feel you have been blocked unfairly, you can reach out to an administrator on their Community Central message wall. Only the admin who blocked you can unblock you. If that admin is no longer active, you may message a different admin.
Do not delete warnings or block messages from administrators or moderators. These messages are used to keep track of what a user has been previously given a warning or notice about.
Blogs
When making a blog, it has to pertain to the Vampire Academy/Bloodlines franchise. This is an English wiki, so blogs must be in English.
When blogging, do not add wiki categories, as including these interferes with the wiki navigation. Please use only blog-specific categories on blog pages to avoid potential issues. [[Category:Blog posts]] is automatically added to each blog.
Deleting a page or file
If you wish to delete a page or file, go into source editor and enter the code {{delete|insert reason}}
When marking a page or file for deletion you must put a reason. For example:
Pages:
- Vandalism and problems
- Spam
- Vandalism
- Maintenance
- Author request
- Housekeeping
Files:
- Duplicated/superseded file
- Misnamed file
- Fanon/AI generated
Editing
- Edits should have very few to no grammatical mistakes in them.
- All edits should be in US English unless it's a direct quote from a character, e.g., "color" instead of "colour"
- Sources: If you are asked for a source, you must provide one, or that information may be subject to removal.
- No copying! Please do not plagiarize articles. If you see plagiarism, be bold and rewrite it.
Categories
Please do not create or add new categories without first consulting an admin. Categories with only one member are completely useless; avoid single-item categories at all times, with the exception of maintenance categories.
Dates
We use the date format, Month Day Year. Please do not change these dates to another format.
If you find in our pages a date such as Day Month Year, feel free to convert it.
Files
AI Files
AI (artificial intelligence) files are digital artwork created or modified by AI. Types of artwork that can be created with AI are images, audio, and video.
AI files are not allowed on:
- Articles

When using AI art, you must state that it is ai.
Files on articles
Files that are uploaded to articles must be appropriate not only in looks but in name as well.

Files that are uploaded for personal use must be appropriate not only in looks but in name as well. If a file is unused after a week since being uploaded or last used, it will be deleted.
Non-Canon Material
This is not a fanon wiki. Please do not insert it into our pages. Non-canon material includes, but is not limited to:
- Fanon
- Fanfiction
- Fan Art
Page Protection
Administrators and moderators can protect and unprotect pages, including ones that do not exist. Protection of a page or image usually means that a non-admin cannot modify it.
The majority of pages on this wiki will remain unprotected to encourage all users to edit. Pages may, however, be temporarily or permanently protected for legal reasons (for example, license texts should not be changed) or in cases of extreme vandalism or edit warring or abusive re-creation.
Uses
- Vandalism has persisted over a long period of time
- Stopping an edit war
- Protect the proper display of the wiki (i.e. wiki logo, frequently used templates, the main page, policy pages, etc.)
- Preventing repeatedly created vandal or spam pages from creation. See Special:Protectedtitles
- Protecting the interface and system messages in the MediaWiki namespace (these are protected automatically)
A temporary protection is used for:
- Enforcing a "cool down" period to stop an "edit war", upon request.
- Protecting a page or image that has been a recent target of persistent vandalism or persistent edits by a banned user.
There is no need to protect personal .css and .js pages like user/monobook.css or user/cologneblue.js. Only the accounts associated with these pages are able to edit them. (For more information on using these pages, see Help:User style)
Types of Protection
- (default) means any user, whether logged in or anonymous, can edit or move the page.
- Block unregistered users, or semi-protected, means anonymous users and new accounts less than 4 days old cannot edit and/or move pages.
- Sysops only, or fully-protected, means only administrators may edit and/or move the page.
Unacceptable reasons for protecting reasons can include:
- Disagreeing with an administrator or moderator; this is conflict of interest.
- Reserving the page to be edited later.
- Marking a page as done -- wiki pages are never done, as language can always be improved upon.
Rules when protecting a page
- Do not edit a temporarily protected page except to add a notice explaining the page is protected.
- Do not protect a page you are involved in an edit dispute over. Admin powers are not editor privileges - admins should only act as servants to the user community at large.
- Avoid favoring one version of the article over another, unless one version is vandalism.
- Temporarily protected pages should not be left protected for very long.
- Talk pages and user talk pages are not protected except in extreme circumstances.
- The protection of a page on any particular version is not meant to express support for that version and requests should therefore not be made that the protected version be reverted to a different one.
To request an article be protected or to have the protection level be reviewed, please contact an administrator or content moderator on their wall.
Templates
Any changes to templates are to be discussed with active admins. If the admins approve, then the changes will be implemented. Additionally, please do not create templates without first talking to an admin.
