Vampire Academy Series Wiki:Templates

There are many templates in use in Vampire Academy Series Wiki. This page lists them.

• Category:Templates should cover all templates in the wiki, categorized into the various subcategories.
• The Template namespace always has all templates in the wiki, sorted alphanumerically.

As per the policy page, users who are not moderators or admins should not edit templates unless given permission. Some templates will have written on them if users can edit them.

What are templates?

Wiki templates provide a means to insert the same content over and over in different (or the same) pages. This saves editors the hassle of duplicating the same text again and again, and also helps ensure consistency.

Templates are generally shown with the format required to use the template (e.g. {{stub}}). Clicking the template name takes you to the template's page, where you can see what it looks like and how it is used.

Detailed instructions on the usage of each template should exist on:

1. a subpage using {{documentation}}; or
2. the template page itself (inside "noinclude" tags)

Article management templates

{{Cite}}

• This template is used after unsourced and/or questionable text so that its implication is self explanatory as to what is lacking citation. If necessary, use the article's talk page to discuss further details.

• This template should be used when an article does not have a designated style listed in the manual of style or has not been reorganized to fit it's designated style.

• This template will categorize articles that include it into Category:Candidates for deletion, and mark it with a delete template.

• This template is for articles that are missing information

{{TBA}}

• This template is used to show editors where information is needed.

• This template may be placed on any image category page, to help users understand how to upload and add images to that category.
